Who We Are

A Story of Purpose, Compassion and Social Transformation

HER-CREED Foundation exists to champion a more just, inclusive, and equitable society where women, girls, young people, and vulnerable communities are empowered to live healthy, productive, and dignified lives.

Health and Equitable Rights for Championing and Repositioning Women Education, Empowerment and Development (HER-CREED) Foundation is a dynamic, impact-driven non-profit organization established to respond to the urgent and often neglected realities facing women, girls, children, youth, and other vulnerable groups in society.

HER-CREED was born out of a deep recognition that too many people are still denied access to opportunities that should be fundamental — quality education, healthcare, safety, livelihood, voice, and dignity. In many communities, women continue to face inequality and exclusion. Girls are forced to abandon their dreams because of poverty or harmful social norms. Survivors of violence struggle in silence. Young people with great potential are limited by lack of access, mentorship, and support. These realities inspired the vision behind HER-CREED.

What began as a strong desire to stand in the gap for the underserved has grown into a platform for sustainable development, gender advocacy, community empowerment, and systems change. HER-CREED does not only respond to immediate needs; it works to address the deeper social, economic, and structural factors that create vulnerability in the first place. We believe that true transformation happens when individuals are empowered, communities are mobilized, and institutions are challenged to become more inclusive and responsive.

Our work is rooted in the understanding that development must be holistic. For this reason, HER-CREED operates across interconnected thematic areas including girl and boy-child education, maternal and child health, economic empowerment, gender-based violence prevention and response, leadership development, civic participation, WASH, environmental sustainability, and support for persons with disabilities, internally displaced persons, and other vulnerable populations.

We combine grassroots action with policy advocacy, research, strategic partnerships, and evidence-based programming. This means that while we are actively present in communities delivering interventions that improve lives, we are equally committed to influencing broader systems, policies, and conversations that shape those lives. Our goal is not merely to provide relief, but to create pathways to lasting opportunity, resilience, and justice.

At the heart of HER-CREED is a powerful belief: when women are empowered, communities become stronger; when girls are educated, futures are transformed; and when vulnerable people are supported with dignity and intention, entire societies move closer to peace, prosperity, and shared progress. This belief continues to guide every project we design, every partnership we build, and every life we seek to impact.

HER-CREED is more than an organization. It is a movement of hope, advocacy, empowerment, and purposeful action — committed to restoring dignity, expanding opportunity, protecting rights, and building a future where no one is left behind.

  • 02We design meaningful interventions

Our programs are built to respond to real issues across health, education, empowerment, protection, and inclusion.

  • 03We build capacity and opportunity

We equip individuals and communities with the tools, skills, knowledge, and support needed to become resilient and self-reliant.

  • 04We advocate for lasting change

Beyond direct service delivery, we engage in advocacy, partnerships, and evidence-based action to influence policies and systems.

Founder & Executive Director

HER-CREED Foundation is led by Ifeanyichukwu-Hilary Gloria, a passionate advocate for social transformation, gender equity, leadership development, and community empowerment. Her vision for HER-CREED was shaped by years of observing the persistent inequalities that affect women, girls, and vulnerable populations — and by a deep determination to build an institution that would not merely speak about these issues, but respond to them with courage, structure, and impact.

Under her leadership, HER-CREED has evolved into a platform that blends compassion with strategy, advocacy with action, and community presence with long-term vision. Her drive continues to shape the foundation’s focus on inclusive development, systemic change, and the creation of opportunities that restore dignity and unlock potential.
